The NDEQ Groundwater Specialist assists rural communities and small water systems in the design of implementation plans for ground water and source water protection. This technical assistance includes identification and evaluation of potential contamination threats and the available remedies for the contaminants involved. The NDEQ Groundwater Specialist will also assist in the formation of locally controlled committees which will determine which Best Management Practices would best address the immediate and future concerns of the water system.
