The Wastewater Technician provides assistance to wastewater systems throughout the state on issues such as treatment, sampling, confined space entry, inflow and infiltration, pump maintenance; smoke testing, and televising of collection systems.

The EPA Wastewater position provides technical and onsite assistance to rural communities, decentralized wastewater systems and tribal municipalities and assists with planning, developing, and acquiring financing through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and EPA’s Clean Water Indian Set-Aside Grant (CWISA) programs.
